  I have had a great experience at Oconee Primary Care with Dr. Mary Kim. When I my previous doctor of 18 years it was very difficult and Dr. Kim came very highly recommended. I am so glad I started going to the practice. The office staff is stunningly efficient and the nurses are caring, thoughtful and think of the people they are seeing and helping. Dr. Kim is so thoughtful and always makes me feel that she is both listening and thinking about what is going on with me medically.

  This office cares more about co-pays than caring for their patients. My husband, who is diabetic, was experiencing back pain and was concerned about his kidneys and the new diabetic medication Dr. Kim put him on. His appointment was @ 4:20 and we arrived on time, but he'd left his wallet at work. I didn't have my card to pay so I offered to rush home and get cash. I left him at the doctor's office and rushed home. They refused to see him until his co-pay was paid. I returned at 4:40 and we were told he'd have to come back the next day because they don't see patients after 4:30 PM. I did get upset and told them that it was unbelievable that they'd turn him away - especially considering his medical condition, but they kept citing their 4:30 policy. (We then went to Urgent Care). A few days later we received a letter from Oconee Primary Care stating they no longer wanted us as patients, and they also sent us the over-payment that we had on our account! Our co-pay was $25 and they refunded us $21. They turned my husband away for $4.00!
